First Appointment

First Appointment

During our initial meeting:

  • We will begin with a comprehensive assessment of your situation to understand your concerns.

  • You can express your expectations, requests, and the objectives you aim to achieve through our collaboration.

  • If you're uncertain, don't worry; we will define these goals together.

  • I will then provide a summary of the short, medium, and long-term strategies I propose for us to implement.

  • The aim is for you to envision this process and have a clear idea of what to expect.

  • If necessary, I may suggest collaborating with other professionals, such as psychologists, psychiatrists, psychomotor therapists, general practitioners, physiotherapists, coaches, etc.

  • We will set one or more initial objectives, exercises, or experiences to try before our next meeting, taking the first step toward your goals.

  • We will schedule the next appointment before concluding.

Follow-Up Appointments

In subsequent sessions:
  • We will start by reviewing the previous appointment and discussing events in your life since then.

  • Feel free to note any topics you'd like to address between our meetings.

  • I am here to answer your questions on a wide range of subjects related to human nutrition.

My expertise encompasses:

  • Food: From production to consumption, including preservation, processing methods, and their effects on food quality.

  • Nutrition: Understanding our nutrient needs and how dietary choices or supplementation can enhance the body's ability to regulate, build, and repair itself.

  • Dietetics: Implementing practical interventions in daily life to achieve specific goals and improve quality of life. This includes advice on food selection (both qualitative and quantitative), meal preparation logistics, and shopping strategies.

  • Eating Behavior: Exploring your relationship with food, your body, beliefs, fears, and self-perception. We will connect your behaviors to their impact on achieving your goals and reconcile them with your expectations of yourself.

Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis

Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis: An Essential Tool for Precise Nutritional Care

Bioelectrical impedance analysis is an advanced technology that measures body composition by evaluating fat mass, lean mass, bone mass, and body water. This indispensable tool in nutritional monitoring has numerous applications, whether for athletes or in managing various health conditions.

Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis for Athletes

For athletes, every detail matters when optimizing performance. Bioelectrical impedance analysis provides a detailed evaluation of body composition, going beyond what a simple scale can reveal. Among its benefits:

  • Monitoring Muscle Mass: Essential for adjusting protein intake and evaluating the effectiveness of a training program.

  • Hydration Analysis: Crucial for preventing dehydration or detecting water retention.

  • Competition Weight Management: Particularly relevant for disciplines where weight plays a key role (martial arts, gymnastics, etc.).

These insights enable precise nutritional recommendations tailored to objectives such as performance, recovery, or injury prevention.

A Valuable Tool in Managing Health Conditions

Beyond the realm of sports, bioelectrical impedance analysis is a powerful ally in managing health conditions that I encounter daily:

  • Eating Disorders (Anorexia, Bulimia, Binge Eating): Provides an objective measurement of body composition, helping monitor changes in energy reserves while safeguarding the patient’s overall health.

  • Obesity: By distinguishing between fat mass and lean mass, impedance analysis assesses the effectiveness of weight loss programs and ensures muscle integrity is preserved.

  • Diabetes: Body composition plays a key role in managing these condition, particularly in preventing or controlling insulin resistance.

  • ARFID (Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder): Monitoring lean mass is critical to avoiding nutritional deficiencies caused by highly selective eating habits.

Tailored and Personalized Support

Bioelectrical impedance analysis doesn’t just provide numbers—it transforms data into personalized recommendations. Every patient, whether an athlete or someone managing a health condition, benefits from tailored support that considers their specific needs and goals.

In my practice, this tool complements other clinical and biological assessment methods to provide holistic, human-centered, and effective care.

If you would like to learn more or incorporate bioelectrical impedance analysis into your care, feel free to contact me or book an appointment via Doctolib.

To Go Further

Let's embark on an adventure and explore your food landscape.

In our exploration of your situation and the solutions we will try to implement, I propose that we talk about food without taboos, without limits...

What humans do when they eat is a subject that fascinates me at every level of analysis. We can discuss food through the lenses of health, biology, anatomy, emotional regulation, performance, well-being, sports, cooking, global food cultures, sociology, economics, psychology, philosophy, mythology, ethics, religion, and even politics—or any other aspect I may have missed here!

The relationship between humans and food is complex. We eat foods, dishes, meals, emotions, symbols, and so much more...

This will also be an opportunity to talk about your personal story—your fears, anxieties, frustrations, but also your desires, dreams, projects, aspirations, and even fantasies.

The goal is that, through our work, we can help you build a relationship with food that meets your needs in a way that aligns with how you want to live your life.

As you've probably gathered, I’m inviting you to join me in demystifying food, making it easier to navigate in your daily life.

See you soon in my offices or via video consultations!

Price

Sliding scale fees

My base rate is a sliding scale from 40 to 80€ per session, which is for a one-hour slot.

Dietetic consultations, like those of several paramedical health professionals, are not reimbursed by Social Security in France.

Some mutual insurance companies cover several sessions per year.

Certain pathologies may allow for the reimbursement of dietetic consultations by Social Security, notably in cases of long-term illnesses (ALD) or MDPH files.

In my opinion, the fact that the dietitian's role is so central to managing so many health issues and that our work is not reimbursed by Social Security is a highly problematic situation.

Therefore, I propose a sliding scale for my rates based on the financial capacity of the individuals I see.

Feel free to discuss this with me so we can agree on a rate that allows you to work on your health concerns at your best rythm!
